Made a Solara in Lego 2k Drive (Share code: 2A887B), enjoying the game thus far but it's more lMario Kart cozy when I was hoping it was Forza cozy. Even then the building, personality in the story, and local co-op are highlights for me, so y'know the usual for Lego games lol #toyota #lego

On vacation in MA & picked up a Speed Champions set to build in the hotel, since my s/o and I recently got back into Lego, it's def a pretty build but some of the building techniques felt advanced. Then again I haven't bought a set/built in general in over a decade so Im out of date on the Lego building meta 😅

Longtime no toot! Trying out Mastodon again (and bsky/tumblr). Lots of things going on this summer from filling chips in the windshield, to replacing a headlight housing, to learning how to drive in sequential mode & most recently diagnosing/filling some leaks in the rain gutters. Oh ya! and doing a collaborative piece with my s/o turning my aging leather seats into Cowprint with Angelus paint/sealer 🐮 anywho hope y'all been having a good summer! and what are y'all up to rn? 🤔

@jadesded Huh, thanks for the insight guys! didn’t realize that swapping VW bodypanels around was a ‘thing’ as it were, very neat. I like when people deconstruct manufacturing processes to see what trims/parts are universal/modular to a specific brand, (or brute forcing parts through fabrication lol) Always interesting to see what people can Frankenstein with unwavering willpower & an vision. From a few days ago: I found a random Bora Estate chilling in my local Meijer parking lot. My first instinct was, “it’s a golf wagon!” but then after a few wiki pages I found that its the Jetta variant of essentially the same car with different respective styling ques in front/back. Also the mk4 estate wasn’t offered in the US so all we got was the Bora, but in the euro market you could decide whether you wanted a Boy-racer Golf Wagon or a Sophisticated Corpo Jetta (at an upcharge) lol.
