Jade D.From a few days ago: I found a random Bora Estate chilling in my local Meijer parking lot. My first instinct was, “it’s a golf wagon!” but then after a few wiki pages I found that its the Jetta variant of essentially the same car with different respective styling ques in front/back. Also the mk4 estate wasn’t offered in the US so all we got was the Bora, but in the euro market you could decide whether you wanted a Boy-racer Golf Wagon or a Sophisticated Corpo Jetta (at an upcharge) lol.
@jadesded Huh, thanks for the insight guys! didn’t realize that swapping VW bodypanels around was a ‘thing’ as it were, very neat. I like when people deconstruct manufacturing processes to see what trims/parts are universal/modular to a specific brand, (or brute forcing parts through fabrication lol) Always interesting to see what people can Frankenstein with unwavering willpower & an vision.
