Every winter I had the joy of jumping the starter solenoid in my 69 VW bug because it stopped working. I hated it, at the time. But now have found memories of getting out a giant screwdriver and crawling under it in the snow.

Of course the heater didn’t work in it either, and the oil smell coming from it made you cough.
