I'm just a guy on the internet. I post random shit, sometimes insightful shit. I like my anonymity. I work for a FAANG, but don't tell anyone.

I believe in Freedom of Speech, but the real one, not the one where you shut up people who disagree with you. Also not the one where you doxx and insult people.

@molly0xfff and they did that while being given unfair advantage!

@Sustainable2050 this is shocking people? People living in Germany have had the police raiding their appartment because they liked the wrong post on Facebook...

Yes, these liked posts were despicable and posted by despicable people, but still there is no proportionality. One guy got his house raided for saying "you're a dick" to a politician. https://www.zeit.de/news/2021-09/09/kritik-an-grote-nach-durchsuchung-wegen-pimmel-tweets

I am often ashamed of how my country is governed, and the sad state of civil liberties. Give to the GFF https://freiheitsrechte.org/

Content moderation must be consistent to ensure free speech for all. But the exemptions for self-declared media content in the EU’s Media Freedom Act will only lead to arbitrary outcomes.

We already fought and won this battle with the DSA.

Now, MEPs must #RejectArticle17.

@ska what you're describing already exists. It's called doas

Do you own a Fitbit? Then chances are that your personal data is being unlawfully transferred to the US and other countries outside the EU.

We filed three complaints to stop Fitbit from forcing new app users to consent to these transfers.

DEATH FLASH

@stux I don't know what makes me the saddest after reading "(No this is not real)"

How disconnected people are from food, that they don't know that croissants are a processed food.

Or that because this is obviously a fake/AI image, you put "(no this is not real)" to cover your ass against of the risk of outrage/ban/backlash, because a minority of people is stupid :(

@jrconlin No but they're premium scratch tickets, if I remember correctly. They're like €25 and the minimum payout is €12.

TBH it's unclear under which jurisdiction do these scratch tickets fall. I wouldn't be surprised if the lottery license was obtained in some European gambling paradise like Malta or Jersey island.

@jrconlin my guess is that you have never flown Ryanair.

They sell scratch tickets instead of watches/frangance. Stratch tichets!

I've never seen anything so trashy...

@jrconlin you have obviously never been to Geneva's airport.
