Do you own a Fitbit? Then chances are that your personal data is being unlawfully transferred to the US and other countries outside the EU.

We filed three complaints to stop Fitbit from forcing new app users to consent to these transfers.

@noybeu Mine goes like this :

10 PRINT "Couch Potato !"
20 GOTO 10

@noybeu Decided not to use it when Google bought it. Oh well. But, being on the older side, I recently got hearing aids, and suprise!! - it counts steps & other things, too. I suppose Google will snap that company up, too. Billionaires need us. We do not need them.
@noybeu I really want a great fitness tracker that requires no account and no app.

@noybeu I stopped using fitness trackers for precisely this reason. I've owned a FitBit and a Xiaomi.

The only metrics I care about are steps, so I bought an inexpensive Casio* watch with a pedometer. It doesn't sync with anything, and it gives much more consistent results than either of the trackers I've owned.

*Not affiliated with Casio in any way. I just love the watch!

@EricChrSmit Goedemorgen Eric, zijn jullie bij FTM bekend met het werk van NOYB?
@noybeu @Verso There are so many great tools that really don’t need a web connection at all, for any reason. Even an occasional firmware update. Nope.
