Here’s a tidbit I found again in a post by @gruber from 2019, about scroll views:

“Just by looking at it, there’s no reason to think there’s more. But ‘just by looking at it’ is the way user interfaces *should* be designed.”

Yes. Let’s bring that back.

If you read carefully between the lines you might come away with an impression that John doesn't really care for Dye's work.

Bad Dye Job

It might have made some sense to bring someone from the fashion/brand world to lead software design for Apple Watch, but it sure didn’t seem to make sense for the rest of Apple’s platforms. And the decade of Dye’s HI leadership has proven it.

Astrophotographer snaps 'absolutely preposterous' photo of skydiver 'falling' past the sun's surface

Astrophotographer Andrew McCarthy has snapped a striking shot of a skydiving YouTuber perfectly aligned with the fiery surface of the sun. The unlikely image, dubbed "The Fall of Icarus," required meticulous planning to pull off.

@pcalc Beating my head against this… why does ctrl+shift+6 do an RPN swap despite not being assigned to swap? If I assign the shortcut to another action, it performs that action and then a swap. Is it a bug or am I missing something? V4.11.1 on 15.7.1. Also, love, love, love PCalc. Thank you! 🙂
@daringfireball I hope all is well or at least the best it can be. I noticed Dekaf sponsoring during your absence and bought some as a gesture of support. Best wishes.
