In 1944 he was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber.

2 August 1936 | A French Jewish girl, Berthe Lederman, was born in Paris.

In August 1942 she was deported to #Auschwitz from Drancy and murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.

19 February 1934 | A Czech Jew, Herbert Stein, was born.

He was deported to #Auschwitz from the #Theresienstadt ghetto together with his mother Gertruda on 6 September 1943. They did not survive.

27 December 1879 | A French Jew, Sylvain Schnerb, was born in Colmar. During the war he lived in Paris.

In September 1943 he was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.

16 December 1917 | A Czech Jewish woman, Edita Federerová, was born in Prague.

She was deported to #Auschwitz from Theresienstadt ghetto on 15 May 1944. She did not survive.
