I pet Cyrus. He is 9 months old and in training to be a service dog through Retrieving Freedom. He has spent the last few months being mentored by Perseus, a service dog I pet a few years ago. Perseus has helped him be more social and learn basic commands.

Now Cyrus will go to a prison in Missouri and an incarcerated person will help train him. When he is done, he will work with a veteran or an autistic child. I hope I can see Cyrus again. I’m betting that he will be a great service dog who will be very helpful to his person.
