Just putting this out there, if anyone needs to talk (bounce an idea, ask for advice, just vent, etc.) you're welcome to dm me. And don't worry about me judging you, I've made enough mistakes to know sometimes s**t happens and bad calls are made. Also I don't talk to people so, I won't hang up your dirty laundry or whatever.

Clarification on the work I shared yesterday:
Safety Check is part of my 16 June project, which is anthology of short stories each taking place on the same day all across Sandouska County. Some will be interconnected, others will be on the other side of the county. It's sort of a meditation on the feeling of sonder.

Note:
I realize my dialogue formatting does not adhere to norms and in a classroom setting would be deemed incorrect.

However, I find my formatting style to be more conducive to my storytelling and I personally find it preferable for flow and aesthetic.

WHOAAAA I finished 16 June: Safety Check! And, as I very much underestimated the scope of this project, ended up at 4284 words, which is about double what I expected.
4284 is also the percent I don't want to edit this dumpster fire. Wish me luck, give me strength, and hopefully I'll be able to put it out there before too long
