Watched Project Hail Mary in the theater with my fiancé yesterday, and I wholeheartedly can say that I love this movie. I was ugly crying at least 3 times because of Rocky and I adore the friendship and bond between Ryland and him.
This movie was so optimistic and beautiful, when it was finished I simply felt good.

Ich habe das gesamte Wochenende mit Freund*innen auswärts verbracht und es war zwar eine wundervolle Zeit, aber meine sozialen Batterien sind komplett ausgelaugt.
Heute arbeite ich nur den halben Tag, weil mein Verlobter und ich unseren Jahrestag haben und dann ist zum Glück noch kurze Woche.
Hab die Story um Ulmen eben gelesen … und ich finde Fernándes derart bewundernswert, dass sie das alles öffentlich macht!

I'm currently reading sci-fi, romantasy, historical fiction and sci-fi horror, though I'm seriously considering to dnf the romantasy one.
I finished a romantasy books a few weeks ago and they all feel and read the same. Same prose, same plot structure, same tropes and the usual smol but fierce FMC and her "who touched you" shadow daddy. It's done to death and I cannot stand it anymore.
So, war jetzt von Montag bis Mittwoch das erste Mal alleine auf Geschäftsreise (sonst ist immer jemand dabei).
Es war schon insgesamt eine coole Sache, aber meine sozialen Batterien sind komplett aufgebraucht und ich könnt grad einfach erschöpft ins Bett fallen und bis morgen durchpennen.
I love seeing all the people appreciating Asian cultures and exploring it in a respectful manner. My inner child, who was bullied for being Chinese/Vietnamese (越南僑民), is happy about that.
I just hate it when people won't put any effort in it to understand a different culture and mock it. Like we really don't care if you wash your hair or not. You just showed us that you suck.
So, today's Lunar New Year and one custom is to not wash your hair, because it is seen as washing away your fortune. It's part of our culture and we just stick to it. It's not that deep.
I just got a reel from a Caucasian woman, telling everyone how she still washed her hair, that she didn't wash away fortune but bad energy (and also not giving any f* about it) and how she wishes everyone a happy year of the fire horse.
Could these people please stop making everything about themselves.
It always takes me a lot of time to fill my journals (diary, sketchbooks etc), and it's not bothering me, but because of this the joy of starting a new journal is something I experience quite rarely 
Since summer last year I started a media log journal and I'm yapping so much everyday and enjoying it so much, that I'm already halfway through the journal I started at the start of this year. I'm using TN standard inserts, but maybe I wanna switch them.
