Ubisoft is another company announcing age verification. Even if they were accurate, and safe, and actually about the children (which it never is), gamekeys selling sites, or new ones will pop up selling "Verified" accounts, just like they sell Steam accounts with games on them. Guaranteed
Clippy can perform better than you Sam, no reason to generalize though.

AppleTV have some hidden gems. Netflix is loud with their Stranger Things and Wednesdays, but man - Silo, Slow Horses, Foundation, For All Mankind, Ted Lasso (just started). All amazing shows worth watching (and reading - read the Silo and will start Slow Horses waiting for the next season)

Ok, hear me out. Is THIS why EU introduced the regulation to attach bottle caps to the bottles?
Like it never made sense, cause noone's just throwing those into turtle's noses or anything, but when you look at it this way...

Free tips for #streaming services:
- When I press play on something, that's a terrible time to show an ad for another show
- If I watched an episode the same day, let alone just finished watching one, I don't need a recap
- Skip Intro should skip the whole intro not play last 7 seconds of it
Thanks

Back in the day filmmakers would lit the set with blue light and you'd know it's a night scene. Now they use a light that happen to be on on another set and if you're not watching the movie/show in a sensory isolation chamber you can't see shit.
Pic is a room at night on full brightness
Torn about Silo season 2. I don't mind some changes and additions - Walk, Sims, Kyle's role, but some are so unnecessary and introduce complications down the line. Some are also just bad storytelling (Audrey, the scene from our times from the Shift and expo dump). Idk. Books did it well already.
The UK and now EU pushing plans to suppress privacy is terrible. The excuse is always to protecting the children or you from the big bad. If you'd think it'd be insane for the government to listen to your private face to face conversations, the internet isn't any different, just easier to implement
The quintessence of AI generated goods and services. Good on you for using your own product, I guess, but you are aware that scissors don't work this way? Doesn't scream confidence in the quality of your possibly vibe-coded product with vibe-generated marketing that no human checked before posting.
Seems that the UK government went with "prior art" defense in case of future attempt of getting a patent for "the dumbest law". The extension of already intrusive Online "Safety" Act to cover vague phases, giving the government power to censor media and even Wikipedia is mind-blowing horrible.
