PSA: DST is a week away, you can start migrating your alarm today! - sh.itjust.works

Just thought I’d remind those of us who are gonna be jumping an hour forward next week. I hate having to wake up an hour earlier all of a sudden so I quicken my alarm gradually to adjust. Just a few minutes earlier each morning until I’ve reached an hour earlier than usual. Then when DST rolls around I just flip it back to the original time.

Reminder to subdue the urge for auto-fellatial tendencies of self-improvement
Hope I’m getting wooshed over here, since you know that tidbit you’ve gotta know that was because they couldn’t just throw more RAM at the problem and actually had to come up with some clever optimisations, right?

I’ve found myself in similar situations. However I haven’t taken full three weeks off; I think my longest has been about 10 days.

I’ve always relished getting back to it with a clear mind and often a well thought out plan and it feels like the features flow faster from the fingertips.

Never fight taking a bit of time off, it grants perspective and lets you decompress, don’t think that can ever be a bad thing (given there’s nothing you really need to be doing in that time to make sure you’ve got a steady income)

Oh, well that’s on me for only reading the headline then (and assuming the worst from corpos at every step).

Yeah no gotcha, I’ve known it to work similarly. Also, didn’t mean it as an attack on you per se (unless you wrote the headline I guess).

The situation seems to me to be that companies obviously assume (I’d guess rightly) that a huge majority of people don’t keep these itemised receipts in order to claim the tax from these minuscule transactions themselves, thus enabling the company to get the tax break.

Loool, what a bootlicker BS headline then! Thank you for your time to tell us.
Unintentionally accurate if you’ve ever tried meditation!
Is that what that is? To keep liches out? Can’t find any references apart from Warhammer
