@kainoa @thatonecalculator Hi Kainoa, may I know if post (notes) exports aren't working atm on this instance? I've initiated an export for my acc abt 2 weeks ago I think and I've still not received it in my Drive, or gotten any feedback on its progress.

I did the same thing for my partner's account that has just 2-3 posts total at about the same time, and it's not in the drive of that account yet either.
@Sharkey @frost thanks for the clarif! It might suck a little bit leaving behind the posts I've built up since my only purpose of socmed is documenting my life/interests etc. in one neat place, but im loving Sharkey so much now to even mind that much abt it.. I'll just have to think of some way to archive/carry over some of my most important posts in a nice way. Thanks again for Sharkey <3
Data export feature in #Firefish is definitely not as good/convenient as I remembered doing on #Mastodon. There's no clear feedback of the progress of what's been exported, they're not easily downloadable from its own specific section but rather, they're supposed to go into the "Drive" pile along with other media files with no indication of when the file was generated (their names are all generic with no differentiation), etc. and worst of all it doesn't seem to even work. I've requested an export more than 24 hrs ago and still could not find them in my Drive, some of these lists like following list etc. should've been and would've been instant on Mastodon. I wish there was a simple export all feature like all other SNS-es have (#Twitter, #Instagram, and pretty sure even Mastodon) which compresses everything into a single .zip file and when it's ready for download, you'll find a link to have it downloaded.
I've created an account on #KitsuClub/#Sharkey (@irfan). It looks just like #Firefish but a little prettier by default and so much snappier which is SO fucking jarring ngl. Doesn't seem like it supports importing posts/notes though which is gonna suck if I decide to make a complete move :( Though I can probably live with that. Better than seeing internal server errors all day.

Is #Sharkey any good? Looking into several #Firefish instances to migrate to and stumbled upon #KitsuClub in the Firefish server list, despite kitsunes.club being based on Sharkey, not Firefish. First glance, Sharkey looks pretty promising - not sure how stable/reliable it is though vs Firefish or they're all just the same. Also, not sure how compatible it is between the two (i.e. if I can migrate **all** of my content over, as I expect I would be able to moving to another Firefish server).

Firefish Social
firefish.social is so fucking broken for so, so long lol I'm surprised the instance has not been killed yet.

AMAZING, so please follow me there @irfan thank you <3
@geraineon YA DONT GET ME WRONG THEYRE VERY DIFFERENT, just thinking abt comparing the two makes me laugh xD just in the sense that, previously I thought Gintama was sooo surreal/amazes me how the anime works so perfectly. It's just so easy to sink into and the characters are insanely many but I don't see a single one of them outshined by another, they're all equally interesting and important.

There are many other animes I sincerely love/enjoy, but Yuujinchou is definitely up there with Gintama for me despite their significant differences. It similarly invokes the feeling inside me that this anime is
really special and it amazes me how it's able to do that consistently without missing a beat.

And yes you described them both perfectly, Yuujinchou really is like a warm blanket/scarf on a cold day, while Gintama makes both my partner and I, both very different people, laugh like crazy lol. We've completed Gintama a few years ago now but we both still get reminded of certain scenes at the most random times and scramble to find the scene again just to rewatch it haha.
My latest #Unifi #internet speed test after the most recent free upgrade. My internet plan was previously 50Mbps download XMbps (I don't remember) upload, then got the free upgrade in 2018 to 500Mbps download and 100Mbps upload. With these results, I'm assuming the most recent free upgrade upgraded my plan to 800Mbps download and 200Mbps upload.

Kinda weird though, since checking Unifi's available plans on their website, the 800Mbps plan should only get 100Mbps upload, not 200Mbps. Unless I'm actually upgraded to another tier up, which is 1Gbps download 500Mbps upload - but I'm not sure that's the case with these speeds. Happy regardless though, but seeing the 300Mbps and 100Mbps plan still stuck with 50Mbps upload speed is an absolute crime...
#Yuujinchou is such a very special #anime to me that deserves all the viewership and love from everyone. I HAVE to make a full post about it at some point (sooner than later) but I'll procrastinate and leave that to my future self. Out of the 6 seasons it had (7th season coming), not ONE episode deteriorated in quality. #Gintama used to be my all time favourite whenever I'm asked, but that no. 1 spot might just be Natsume's now 😭
