My latest #Unifi #internet speed test after the most recent free upgrade. My internet plan was previously 50Mbps download XMbps (I don't remember) upload, then got the free upgrade in 2018 to 500Mbps download and 100Mbps upload. With these results, I'm assuming the most recent free upgrade upgraded my plan to 800Mbps download and 200Mbps upload.

Kinda weird though, since checking Unifi's available plans on their website, the 800Mbps plan should only get 100Mbps upload, not 200Mbps. Unless I'm actually upgraded to another tier up, which is 1Gbps download 500Mbps upload - but I'm not sure that's the case with these speeds. Happy regardless though, but seeing the 300Mbps and 100Mbps plan still stuck with 50Mbps upload speed is an absolute crime...
There's an issue since yesterday with the #discord-screenaudio application becoming unusable. Any action such as entering a voice channel and so on would return this error message. This is an unofficial #Discord client #Linux folks can use to easily stream/share your screen with audio (which is not yet supported on the official Discord client on Linux).

No update is out yet to fix this, but fortunately a PR fixing this was already up almost immediately yesterday. Hopefully it will get merged and the update that pushes this to be released soon after. Until then, if you rely on this app to stream things to watch together with your partner/friends like me, you can make do by using Discord's "Activities" and watch something on
#YouTube together instead.

I still can't believe KiX is gone and was taken away from us too... too soon :( It's been 2 years now. Rest in peace, Michael.
I'm darn sick of this error lol, I just wanna create/edit posts dear #Firefish/firefish.social.
People are reporting the screen colour improvements in #SteamOS 3.5 have a night and day difference and this screenshot certainly seems to confirm that (as much as a screenshot from a #YouTube video could). I've never had any complaints with the screen on the #SteamDeck, but any colour accuracy improvement is always welcomed.

The update also allows you to configure the colours to your liking using the pre-configured presets (including the new, more accurate SRGB default). You can choose between Native (the old default, a little more washed out), SRGB (the new default), and Boosted (more vibrant) - you can even move the slider to anywhere in between of the 3 presets.

You can also configure the colour temperature very easily through a slider if you'd like to adjust how warm or cool the colours are. I'm honestly impressed by how seamless and intuitive these new settings are, I was expecting something a little more subtle but this is quite substantial (in a very positive way). This isn't even the best, most exciting thing about the 3.5 update for me, but this is awesome.
LONGKANG sounds more appealing than MUDA, ngl.
Tell me this wallpaper isn't perfect for my #SteamDeck (ok maybe I wish it was a lil darker). The girl definitely checks out as what the Steam Deck would look like as an #anime character.
I love this visualisation of the two #Valve hardwares #SadlyItsBradley made in his latest livestream discussing the rumour lol.

Also reminded me of my post sometime back saying about how male
#FFVII characters are all way prettier than their female counterparts, I mean look at Sephiroth (and Zack, Genesis, Cloud) 😩
How it is working on a solo project/repo lol. It's funny and maybe weird doing all this solo (creating issues, working on them, creating PR/MRs, approving them) but I'm used to it and it's a good practice for when u work on collaborative projects haha.

Side note: I've been really loving
#GitLab. tempted to move over all of my repos away from #GitHub, but dk if I've the energy to bother doing so.
Trying out #OrganicMaps, based on #OpenStreetMap, the #FOSS alternative to #GoogleMaps or #Waze. The app is available on both #Android and #iOS. If you’re able to, check it out and start contributing data on local places you visit to OSM through the app or through OSM’s web portal directly. Android users can also check out #StreetComplete on #FDroid or #GooglePlay which I have also heard good things about, and is also based on OSM.
