@fasterthanlime Is it attempting to read from stdin for some reason? If you explicitly close stdin via `<&-` does that change the behaviour you see?
@juergen_hubert It also means that the CDU/CSU can't form a coalition with _just_ the AFD. While they've insisted the firewall will hold, needing another party to abandon it is still a good thing.
Windows, why are you so weird? What on earth were you doing in the background to consume 100 GiB of RAM before eventually releasing it? It sure wasn't in use by any process 😬
Huh. Sleep Apnoea in the Apple Watch? That's directly relevant to me, might actually consider the new Apple Watch 😱

@cynical13 It's a French game I kickstarted quite a while back. I haven't looked at it in a while, but basically low-magic fantasy-horror. Characters are ordinary people who may well come face-to-face with horrors beyond their ken, but unlike Cthulhu, there is a degree of hope, that the characters can be some level of heroic.

I haven't ever got the chance to play or run it, but it's something I would.

FAQ - Esteren in 20 Questions

In 20 questions, this FAQ aims to give precise answers to the various questions you may have about Shadows Of Esteren   What is Shadows Of...

@cynical13 Currently playing/running: Nothing 😞

Wish I was playing/running:

* V:tM
* M:tA
* Exalted
* PF2E (never tried it, kinda curious)
* Scion 2E
* Shadows of Esteren
* Cthulhu

Plus a few others I'd be interested in trying, but not necessarily "wishing" for 😅

@ratkins Hmmm, probably not (worth a test though). Fill those out *first*, then print and fill in the remaining hand-written bits?
@ratkins Print to PDF. Yes, really - assuming they didn't completely bugger the permissions, you should be able to "print" it as a PDF file, giving you an identical copy without the restrictions.
I occasionally get scam texts, and it can be interesting to play along and see what they know and don't know. In this case, we're talking in German despite the person on the other side ostensibly being from England - does the scammer not know that NZ is an English-speaking country? 😂
@ratkins @alpha @nat Reasonably certain it was P6. P1 was junior, P2 was intermediate, P3 was senior, P4 was staff, P5 was principal, P6 was senior principal IIRC.
