If the results on your DuckDuckGo search are irrelevant and you've searched for something that's to do with your country, click the switch with the country name. It's off by default and you get much more relevant results by turning it on.

(Thanks to @elomatreb)

This is all the shite that comes with the Walk magazine published by the Ramblers charity. Twelve flyers, including some that are literally an extra stapled magazine, and a plastic bag.

I thought that my German friends here might appreciate this dreadful birthday card joke I've received today. 🇬🇧 💜 🇩🇪

Let's pop to Faroe, said no one in Shetland ever.

Is this possibly the most roundabout route to get a relatively short distance anywhere in the world?

Tommy Robinson and the editor: how a newspaper ‘sows division’ where Jo Cox died

Danny Lockwood’s outspoken editorials and his meeting with Tommy Robinson have split opinion in Batley, home town of murdered MP Jo Cox

We are apparently meant to believe that the Chancellor of the Exchequer prepares the national budget with just a briefcase and a phone on his desk rather than, you know, a computer with a spreadsheet package, economic modelling software, and so on.
Duolingo challenging as ever

Parents' houses are a goldmine of "stuff you never thought you'd need again but now need". I found my old German dictionary from A-levels over the weekend.

You too can keep up-to-date with all the latest vocabulary and learn the shocking truth about the German word for "picture messaging". 🇩🇪
