Plugin-hybrids don't really help fuel economy that much. They mostly just make the car heavier.

The problem with social media is that it is antisocial.
We often see reports that light trucks are up to 80% of new cars in the US. However, it doesn't seem to be that people are switching, just that car sales have fallen through the floor. Maybe that is because US automakers don't make them anymore.
