The Sun gets its priorities right: the pub industry just can't survive if drink driving allowances are reduced, public safety be damned.

Crossword clue in today's Guardian: friendly or hint: Intimate.

I've used that word in the past and people responded on the basis that it meant sexual.

Blooming? Dresses aside, these women remind me of what Roald Dahl said, that if you think ugly thoughts, they show on the face.
Feliz Ramadan.
TERFs getting racist. (Not the first either - a while bunch of them couldn't wait to jump on the Deformist "rape gang" bandwagon a few weeks ago.)

A new set of pictures taken by me at Wisley RHS Garden, south-west of London, last Thursday, featuring roses and other flowers in full bloom. https://www.flickr.com/photos/indigojo/albums/72177720318345487
Wisley RHS Garden, June 2024

Wisley RHS Garden is a 240-acre garden in Surrey, built up from an experimental garden founded in the 1870s. It includes a rock garden, a large glasshouse, a woodland, several ornamental ponds, and a library and laboratory (and several cafés) as well as a mock manor house that was built as a laboratory.

A set of pictures I took at Sheffield Park last weekend. Daffodils in bloom but apart from that it's late winter scenery. https://www.flickr.com/photos/indigojo/albums/72177720315423249/
Sheffield Park (March 2024)

Sheffield Park is a large National Trust-owned landscaped garden near Lewes in East Sussex, originally laid out by 'Capability' Brown in the 18th century. I visited in August 2019. Note that the house is not open to the public regardless of Coronavirus. This visit was in early March: the daffodils were in bloom, but it's still very much winter scenery.
