I've tried using fonts that include "programming ligatures/glyphs" for a little while now but I don't think I'm ever going to like it. I want a monospace font to show me exactly how many characters there are, not hide them.
All power to those who enjoy them, I'm happy for you that they exist. But I also appreciate those typefaces that provide basic versions, because I otherwise love the fonts.
That reminds me, from about 2012-2017 I loved new music more than I had since the 90s, and then it dropped again to normal levels.
There was a bit of a renaissance of eighties sound in that period - I think that might have been why.
I was shocked that many youngsters didn't know of Kate Bush until Stranger Things, but thanks to Yellowjackets I have fallen in love with a song that came out when I was two. Given how big the band was/is, I don't know how I missed it.
