I don’t want there to ever be an SNL Canada.

What I really want, though, is a revival of SCTV. Which, at its height, was actually better than SNL.

Just look at this cast:

  • John Candy
  • Eugene Levy
  • Catherine O’Hara
  • Rick Moranis
  • Harold Ramis
  • Martin Short
  • Andrea Martin
  • Joe Flaherty
  • Dave Thomas

I don’t think any sketch comedy series ever had a better crew.

Every now and then you’ve got to sit back and enjoy the classics.

My biggest contribution to #MARCHintosh so far: color matching.

Mac 128/512/Plus is RAL 7032
Mac "Platinum" is RAL 7044

3D Filament of both is available from ColorFABB. Polar Filament has their own 7044 clone called "Retro Platinum" for much less $$.

You can get paint in RAL colors, too.

Enjoy!

Got there!

Trying to save a ~36 hour 3D print.
When I set up Klipper, I may have assumed the Z area was 25mm larger than it is…
I've resliced, chopped the top off at a "safe" height and made note of the Layer number where the slice occurs.
Now to adopt the patience and attention of a sniper, approaching layer 874.

I’ll print the chopped-off bits later then glue them on. With “fuzzy skin”, it shouldn’t be apparent.

Why don’t we hire Ernst & Young to finish A Song of Ice and Fire?

Cadborosaurus is a sea serpent with a horse-like head that has often been reported around Vancouver Island, BC - most famously at Cadboro Bay, Victoria. Various carcasses that have washed ashore have been claimed to be a cadborosaurus, but most turn out to be whales or sharks.

I saw yet another “CSS is a massively bloated mess” whine and I’m like. My dude. My brother in Chromium. It is trying as hard as it can to express the totality of visual presentation and layout design and typography and animation and digital interactivity and a few other things in a human-readable text format. It’s not bloated, it’s fantastically ambitious. Its reach is greater than most of us can hope to grasp. Put some *respect* on its *name*.
