A few days ago I learned about grub theming and this is where it got me.
heute auf der rewatch-liste: falling down (1993). quasi ferris buelers day off für erwachsene. und auf einer metaphysischen ebene der kern des dramas des wütenden weißen mannes und damit ein erster vorbote (oder gar der prototyp?) dessen, was uns heute jeden tag ins gesicht speit. You're in deep trouble if a product takes 6 months to deliver. I deliver every couple of days, max. Every iteration creates a deliverable, so I deliver it. I learn what to do next as I'm doing the current thing. I have a continuous dialog with my customers to facilitate that.

To start a software project, you have to pitch.
In order pitch, you need a business case.
For the business case, you need estimations.
For estimations, you need plans and feature sets.
Upfront.

Aaand back we are at waterfalls, PowerPoint and unrealistic expectations. What's your strategy to escape this circle of doom, @allenholub
