Also, how should I determine which log profile to use?
I am using a sRGB/Rec.709 Gamut for a log Gamma profile in 10bit video. However, should I use Rec.2020/2100 instead? Whats the point in using a wider color space when video is seen in Rec.709 for most people?
Testing out the poor man's SnorriCam. Found this video explaining how to make it with a tripod and two belts - https://youtu.be/ZXeHOkU15K0 I only had one belt, but still made it work. Filming with my phone with mcpro24fps. Settings are HLG 95% log gamma profile, 160mpbs, 30fps, 1920x824 (a ratio of 2.35:1), 10bit color, manual white balance, 1/60 shutter, and 300 ISO (1200 ISO for 2nd shot). If anyone has any advice on film in gamma and gamet curves, please let me know. I'm not sure if I am doing it right. I did the color grading in Adobe Lightroom using their reccomended presets. I've been learning how to do coloring with S-curves recently, but I'm thinking of using lightroom edits as a preset color grade to match in DaVinci Resolve. #film #filmmaking #ianmenz #musicvideo #color #colorgrading #adobe #lightroom #davinciresolve #resolve #music
