@GossiTheDog I watched a doc on YouTube about this and it was absolutely fascinating. I hate excel but it’s highly impressive to watch these people’s brains work.

@uastronomer good on ya for getting out when you did! I think the hardest part of leaving any IT job is leaving the people you’ve been through some rough patches alongside each other. The unpaid overtime, 6-month crunch kind of rough patches. I’ve made some really great friends during those seasons and it always feels a little bit like betrayal of that friendship to take a new job solely based on your need to get out for mental health or career advancement.
@nixCraft that’s about as good as the Microsoft Support tech telling me last week that I had “too much security” when I was required to escalate priv in order to reinstall O365 on one of our user’s machines.
I laughed in the guys face, asked him if he really just said that and told him that he’d have to take his grievances up with M$ developers and security engineers.
@brunsonburner for what it’s worth, I always pronounced it like krah-jer because it was way more fun to mispronounce.
@Sysengineer I’ve been trying to learn Python and study for Sec+ for a bit but I haven’t “studied” academically in 10 years now. I’m finding the art of studying efficiently to be a use it or lose it kind of thing and I’m here to report I lost it lol
