One of my chickens is taking an incredibly unusual snow bath.
We lost our favorite chicken to a raccoon. However, the loss of Dynarys has brought the rest of us closer together this morning.
I learn a lot from watching chickens process grief and trauma. Trauma lives in our bodies, but chickens don't try to mask it like humans.
My chickens want to sleep anywhere high up. They are so sad to sleep in the coop.
