Hey @draft13 I'm trying to move my followers but it's giving a 503 Remote Certificate could not be validated for toot.martyn.berlin which has a valid letsencrypt cert... any chance you could add the LE root cert to the server so I could move smoothly?
Twitch sings, a karaoke game online is shutting down at the end of the year. I'm sad, angry, helpless, devastated... Some of these people I've sung with nearly 50 times each over the past year and there's just no replacement. The one good thing twitch did was get mechanical and sync licences for these songs and allow us to sing together. Now it's going away and it's like a bad breakup. The community that it built up is going to dissolve and there's not a lot anyone can do.
I'm quite seriously thinking of coding a replacement for twitch sings that works with any video and just passes around the vocal recording and sync information. Of course it couldn't actually be used by 90% of the people who are about to be left in the lurch because licensing.
Insomnia because my brain won't shut down. Processing the news that one of the things keeping me sane during these crazy times is being taken away. Trying to find solutions but commercial interests are, as always, against the small folk. The music industry is definitely not about helping anyone but the music industry bosses.

And to all users of that format: it makes no sense, it's counter-intuitive, it makes collaboration frustrating, it introduces inconsistencies and errors... Just stop. Please. Use international standards.
(And don't get me started on your other units of weights, volumes and distances. Bloody hell.)

Darius KazemiI finally wrote up something explaining that Twitter has not allowed people to pick usernames during signup for almost 3 years now, and that a "jsmith12345678" username pretty much just means you're dealing with a not super technically savvy social media literate person.
So I discovered that bismuth has a low temperature melting point, low enough to melt on a stove and I started plotting... Here's my first attempt at a cylon raider from my #battlestargalactica #bsg #boardgame piece. I'm ridiculously proud of this #fail, as it's close enough to see that it should work!
