@mcc Not familiar with VCV Rack, but on their GitHub they say they use a library called Blendish. Blendish is described to "replicate the look of the Blender 2.5+ User Interface". So to me it seems it's not actually using any of the same code Blender uses. (Just based on a quick search, might be wrong, but I'd be surprised if it did use it)
GitHub - geetrepo/oui-blendish: Blendish is a small collection of drawing functions for NanoVG in a single C header file, designed to replicate the look of the Blender 2.5+ User Interface.

@lydiaconwell Unfortunately it seems that non-avian dinosaurs didn't have a syrinx, the organ birds use to make sounds: https://www.nsf.gov/news/news_summ.jsp?cntn_id=189996

To speculate wildly, we might have closed-mouth booms more similar to crocodilians in large-bodied dinosaurs like T. rexThat is just speculation though, and it did say they don't fossilise well, so maybe there's a chance.. ;)

Analysis of fossilized Antarctic bird's 'voice box' suggests dinosaurs couldn't sing

Find may provide insights into development of other anatomical features and evolutionary history of birds

@GordonIsenburg @[email protected] That article seems to be quite misleading. According to this article about the paper, it only compared the T. rex DNA to 21 different species. It concluded that they are closer related to birds than to alligators, but it did not pinpoint a specific species that is the closest relative.

Unfortunately neither article directly links to the research papers, and it's a bit inconvenient to search for them on mobile.

It would be quite funny though if that was the case.
Molecular analysis confirms T. Rex’s evolutionary link to birds

@w At least based on my experience WhatsApp calls work quite poorly.
@lydiaconwell Yeah you can. It confused me at first, but I think it's a good thing.
@gladsdotter I canceled the existing follow request (clicked the button that said "Processing") and refollowed again. That seems to have fixed everything.
@kainoa @gladsdotter I have/had the same issues. Some of the accounts I followed were gone entirely, some have been pending since the migration. Your account was one of the ones that I had previously followed but was no longer in the list of people I follow after the migration. Interestingly the home timeline started working again after I manually followed you again. Before that it had been broken for a few days at least.

For me this isn't a big issue though since I can get the list of people I followed from the notifications. Just saying it in case it helps figure out what the issue is. Everything else has migrated successfully.
