If you look at global top _streamed_ albums, the list shifts to 20 western/US artists! Apparently westerners stream almost exclusively, despite the fact that it pays very little.
The combined list has the top 4 kpop acts up in the top-10 but the rest of the list is the top-16 from this list.
In case anyone was wondering who buys physical albums these days: swifties and kpop stans, lol:
