People write tutorials as a way of learning-by-teaching. It doesn't matter if the material has been covered before by more experienced developers. The point is for the author to learn. This is not constructive feedback whatsoever. Instead of being an asshole, be encouraging and offer advice on how to improve. The kid is 16 years old for heck sake. This sort of behavior contributes to imposter syndrome and makes beginners feel like they're not cut out for programming.
