@arstechnica and based on interactions with Mercedes-Benz drivers I've encountered...it still probably won't come with functional turn signals.

@mantaboo no idea, I heard it live at the show.

One important thing for folks to remember here is that it likely isn't AI making up words and sounds to imitate John, it's using AI to more effectively isolate his voice from a recording.

@mantaboo I can't remember if it was this specific song or not, but Paul did a song with reconstructed vocals from John on his tour last summer. I remember being surprised by how good it sounded then!

@mantaboo @gbraad @arstechnica he clearly doesn't need the money, but it doesn't seem like greed either.

Just a musician wanting to use new tools to make music he hasn't been able to make thus far.
