I watched the first episode after Marcus Mendes’s great article on @9to5mac.com and was pleasantly surprised. It’s intriguing without becoming a mess.

I didn’t know there’s a $42 million, 10,000-year clock currently under construction inside the Sierra Diablo mountain range in West Texas.

It has a year hand, a century hand, and a cuckoo that emerges every 1,000 years.

So, millions of dollars spent to buy used/old non-fiction physical #books, scan them, and finally destroy them — all to train #AI . It was ruled completely legal.

But destroying books just doesn’t feel right.
