London Terrariums shared a post on Instagram: "A few weeks ago I got an email from a man names Yoshihiro Ohno, he had recently seen an article on London Terrariums in Japanese Horticultural magazine and would soon be visiting London and wanted to come and meet and talk about Moss....right up my street! . Today Yoshihiro and his wife came to our Healâs store, I knew they did not speak much English so from home I brought some books on moss that I had from a visit to Japan a few years back, hoping we could bond on a mutual love of moss. On arrival Yoshihiro presented me with a book on Moss that he had just written, I then showed him my other Japanese moss books and it turns out the one that I already had was his first book and he was here presenting me with number 2! We couldnât believe the coincidence and all hit it off straight away, swapping moss stories and gifts of books, tote bags, tools and an amazing Japanese water Lilly print; I wasnât quite prepared for Yoshihiroâs generosity and kindness. . . The most wonderful Sunday chance meeting, Yoshihiro has promised to take me moss watching next time I am in Japan but for now he is walking to Saville Row to see where King George VI had his suits made, as he loved the film The Kings Speech. . . Yoshihiro Ohnoâs new book, âThe World of Mossâ will be published on 25th September and we are hoping to get it in both stores and online very soon after. (The great news is it is also Translated into English, not that you need it as the layout and photography is a treasure enough.)". Follow their account to see 2148 posts.
