Emerging scholars is an unusual 2-year program that provides intensive research and/or work experience with real impact, plus courses & mentoring. Emerging scholars are staff, not students, with a salary and full benefits. It's a stepping stone to different career paths: a PhD, government, nonprofits, or the private sector.

Three recent university graduates joined Princeton’s Center for Information Technology Policy this fall as the inaugural class of Emerging Scholars, a program aimed at helping people start careers that combine technology and public policy.
