So, I sat on this one for a few days to see how much impact it would have in American media and our larger political discourse and, unsurprisingly, the answer is pretty much none. It's pretty disgusting that if I want coverage about a genocide my own government is paying for and facilitating in a myriad of ways, I pretty much have to rely on a British newspaper, specifically The Guardian; and even then, I have to use an archived version because the editors did their best to tone down how horrible it is after the fact.
The story here is that roughly four dozen American surgeons, emergency room physicians and nurses wrote to the White House to provide testimony of Israeli crimes against humanity in Gaza, including clearly intentional sniper shots on large numbers of very young children, then demanded an arms embargo by the U.S. on Israel

"The eight-page letter, delivered on Thursday and addressed to Biden, the first lady, Jill Biden, and the vice-president, Kamala Harris, said the medics saw evidence of widespread violations of laws governing the use of US weapons supplied to Israel, and of international humanitarian law.
Forty-five surgeons, emergency room physicians and nurses who volunteered in several Gaza hospitals over recent months laid out what they described as the “massive human toll from Israel’s attack on Gaza, especially the toll it has taken on women and children”.
“We cannot forget the scenes of unbearable cruelty directed at women and children that we witnessed ourselves,” they wrote.
“Every single signatory to this letter treated children in Gaza who suffered violence that must have been deliberately directed at them. Specifically, every one of us on a daily basis treated pre-teen children who were shot in the head.”
Folks, between statements by the International Court of Justice, credible eye witness testimony, numerous undoctored examples of video evidence published on social media, and a small but dedicated group of journalists from not only Gaza but multiple mainstream Pig Empire publications as well, it is literally impossible to argue that what we're looking at here is not a collection of crimes against humanity, perpetrated by Israel, as part of a larger campaign of genocide in Gaza.
Furthermore, I think that when false stories of "forty babies beheaded by Hamas on October 7th" can be credulously reported for weeks by nearly every media organization in the United States, to the point that President Joe Biden himself kept quoting the story long after it had been debunked, but 45 American medical professionals reporting crimes against humanity, the intentional murder of children, and the widespread suppression of the actual number of Gazans killed by the Israeli military and that campaign of genocide, barely even makes the news in the United States - it's very clear to me at least that our media is actively covering up the story here.
There is no excuse, for the inexcusable. We're not talking about unreliable witnesses or "the fog of war" in a now 10 month campaign of carnage here - these are trained American medical professionals volunteering with the World Health Organization, talking about treating pre-teen victims of Israeli sniper rounds, and estimating the death toll at *at least* 92,000 Gazans. Whether the Biden Administration and a complicit American media establishment want to admit that or not, this is a genocide in progress. And they're hiding that reality from you on purpose.
