Hungarians owning multiple passports whose work the government deems to threaten “national sovereignty” can be expelled from the country, according to a draft constitutional amendment.

I never imagined in my wildest dreams I'd experience a morning like this in the notoriously warm & wet northwest highlands. A friend, Marc, and I trudged through waist deep snow for about 45 minutes, breaking trail the entire way to get to this spot. We had a great morning of photography, only ending when Marc's boot broke flooding his feet with icy water!

Vibrant vertical streaks of yellow and green create a blurred, abstract impression. These are early morning reflections of riverside reeds interspersed with light mist on the waters of the Chobe River in Botswana.

Well, that JD Vance sure lies slickly. Walz wasn't quite as polished but came off as being very sincere. No surprises there, so I can't imagine they changed anyone's votes.

I don’t talk much about politics on the Fediverse.

It’s not because I don’t have political opinions. I very much do. On occasion, I even share those opinions.

But for the Fediverse to grow, people have to start talking about a wider array of interests.

There needs to be communities for food, books, video games, music, art, hiking, etc.

You know, stuff that makes life worth living. Because, if not, what’s the point?

People on here making jokes about Dick Cheney after he has come out saying he'll vote for Harris because Trump is the worst risk to the country in its history. Some people just don't know when the hell to let up a little bit and just say THANK YOU when someone -- even someone you don't like -- supports an important cause that you support.

Jurassic Park (1993): A biotech billionaire releases untested and fundamentally dangerous products onto the market, having used his ill-gotten wealth to buy out academic researchers from genuine work in attempt to get them to valorise his tech fantasy.

If you’ve never had paronychia, I do not recommend it. The pain is pretty considerable and I have an incredibly mild case (based on the disgusting Google images).
