@marcoarment Excited about transcripts in Overcast! I don't know if it's feasible, but I would love to be able to do a query like "On what episode of ATP did they talk about [XYZ]?" Existing LLMs are really bad at this and hallucinate all the time.
@stroughtonsmith I hope Sony had reasonable expectations for numbers going into this. There's simply no way the game can be a breakout hit like ARC Raiders with how brutal it can be sometimes. But that difference is what makes it more thrilling and sticky. I loved my time with ARC but have no desire to go back after playing Marathon.
@siracusa I've been curious about Arc Raiders for a bit but decided to jump in after hearing you talk about it on RecDiffs. As a solo player I went 25-30 matches before I ever got shot at by another player. I've never seen anything quite like the social dynamics in this game.
@atpfm @marcoarment I'm exactly the type of person you describe on this episode who is interested in taking notes on a tablet but doesn't want to buy and carry a whole separate device. And similar to you, I haven't found an iPad app that fits my mental model of note-taking. I'd be very interested in your take on this kind of app!
