@pixelate Resilio is similar to Syncthing. However, I find Resilio a bit easier to use. Above all, it allows you to selectively synchronise files from a shared folder. For example, my MD notes are synced to all my devices, but I have to explicitly select music and videos on my phone and tablet for synchronisation. Otherwise, the devices would become overloaded.

Egal wofür du dich auch immer entscheidest: (fast) alles ist besser als Outlook. :)
Das Schöne an IMAP ist doch, daß es Mail-Client-Wechsel relativ einfach macht. (2/2)
@moralapostel Das ist eher ein technisches Detail. Das bedeutet nur, daß die Tags als IMAP Keywords abgelegt werden. Es gibt oder gab Mail-Clients, die Tags z.B. in die Mail-Header geschrieben haben. Die saubere Methode ist über die Keywords.
Wenn du „nur“ relativ einfache Anforderungen hast, würde ich mir mal Apple Mail ansehen. Wenn du höhere bis hohe Anforderungen hast wäre MailMate mein Tipp, es viele „Poweruser“-Features hat. (1/2)
@moralapostel IMHO der beste Mail-Client: MailMate auf macOS, Preside für iOS hab ich nie benutzt (weil Android-Nutzer), aber soll recht mächtig sein. Beide unterstützen Tagging via IMAP Keywords.
@jcm Nachwievor iTerm, weil es Features hat, die ich bei keinem anderen entdeckt habe. Die Zeitmarken in der Scrollbar, der Filter, mit dem ich tausende Zeilen an Output auf wenige Zeilen schrumpfen kann, ohne den Befehl mit grep neu aufrufen zu müssen. Und ein paar mehr. Ich hätte iTerm gerne in Linux auf der Arbeit. Ghostty finde ich aber auch vielversprechend.
@theDuesentrieb Thanks, I didn't know that one. I just tried it, but unfortunately gPodder Sync doesn't work (‘C.add is not iterable’).
@konsensor Ich weiß nicht, ob es bei Mailbox auch so ist, aber bei Fastmail ist das Globale Adressbuch eines, was du über mehrere Accounts teilen kannst. Dazu hast du idealerweise ein Adressbuch-Client, der mehrere Adressbücher pro Account unterstützt, wie z.B. DAVx5 (Android) und BusyContacts (macOS).
@qgustavor A addition to DevEnvs with Nix. Based on Nix, there are at least three tools that provide DevEnvs without requiring you to delve deeper into Nix. I've never tried them because I prefer to use Nix directly (because of NixOS, nix-darwin, and home-manager). With regard to dev environments, you can probably do everything with them that you can with pure Nix, only with a lower barrier to entry.
