@lattera only a few months ago I started reading and learning about Cross-DSO CFI and it was fascinating, now I guess it’s time to do the same with SLH. Every time you add a new hardening method, I learn a load of new, really cool stuff!!
Taking on @solene’s advice, I’m going to try and port esptool so I can play with my esp32 some more!
@solene that’s a great idea! I actually did this with my running, I entered a 10k in the summer so I have to keep up my running to make sure I’m fit enough
@chuck we have an industrial microwave at work that doesn’t rotate so you end up with alternating stripes of lava and ice

Okay, so I might be being a massive moron (not unusual for me) but I’ve recently got another x240 as the last one got stolen while I was on a train and when I try to install OpenBSD onto the brand new SSD, it keeps telling me it can’t install the boot block. I have FDE on sd2, I’ve zeroed the first megabyte, I’ve turned secureboot off and turned bios boot on, I’ve even wiped the whole drive and tried again, I don’t know what else to do.
