I had a Vespa.

So, pairing different fonts (e.g. one for headings and another for body text) is a complicated art. Generally, you want contrast in styles, but there is such a thing as too much contrast in styles—even though not enough is the more common problem.

I see MyFonts is now offering font pairings, but… the first one I saw seems just weird to me. Feels to me like Eurostile and Berkeley are having an argument rather than complementing each other: ultra-modern vs. 15th century.

✒️ Type History Help Needed! ✒️

Hi #TypographyCommunity! I'm searching for any historical reference or example of a slanted capital 'S'—typefaces, lettering, or vintage signage that might show this unique angled 'S'. 📜 If you've come across anything like it or know where to look, I'd love your insights!

Any tips or resources would be amazing. Academic papers are specially welcome. Thank you! #Typeface #Lettering #typeResearch

I don't know yet how, why or even what for, but here I am.
