True. Car industry is corrupted and criminal - not supporting. They also bribe politicians regurarly, to force through their own agenda, also oppressing cyclists and pedestrians with the concept "yellow vests" and helmets. Car industry is as big as oil industry and as dangerous and evil in every possible way. Animals are killed en masse.

Truth is, all the money goes into private car infra. It should go to green transport, such as trains. Sad that Hyperloop was cancelled.

I can recommend a very good book, already written in 1986:
Science and Reason, by Georg Henrik von Wright.
Regarding writing MPs: don't do it. They will ignore. Governments and politicians are corrupt, often criminal bribing etc. They won't listen.
We need to find a new start from root level by public disobedience and "hard against hard" concrete action. Without risking our lives.
