I used to run around in these circles - Fundamentalist Charismatic Christians who think that they have inside track with the Almighty - it's just funny how what they think they see always matches their own opinions and politics -- or at least their interpretations of what they think they see. And there are demons behind every bush, deceiving everyone they disagree with. It breeds so much anxiety and suspicion and anger. It's truly a depressing way to function.
