A friend gave me a Mju1, used for vacations in the 90s. Seems to struggle with autofocus during daytime as well as on nights. Flash on a snowy evening a few weeks ago.

This is Rupert, the guinea pig, who we've taken in from swedish non-profit Smådjurchansen who rescued him and a bunny from neglect.

He is a very chill dude, as long as our Eddie is within sight. They have bonded in a lovely way and now spend every moment together, with Eddie showing him the ropes, very cute.

His most defining features are one brown and one black front paw, one white back paw and his balls are one of each black and white, so when he turns around he really shines. 😅

Luigi (https://pixelfed.social/p/heffa/851930721211398550) passed from kidney issues he was treated for the last year. He lies buried together with our previous rescues under a cherry tree and rose bush at my parents place. We estimate he was around 4 years and we had him for almost 2 years.

Eddie is well, but on his 6th year now so some arthritis but still sharp as ever. He has a new buddy named Rupert who is also a rescue from a home where he lived alone and with a bunny where both were mistreated. The people taking him in thought he was 5-6 years old because of his nose being a bit white and him being skinny, but it was soon clear to us we got a tiny teenager guinea pig that just needed proper space to move and lots of food. Fortunately him being so young has made him recover fast and he's already up 200g over the last 1.5 months to a kilogram and is now a healthy shaped pear. He's following Eddie´s every move and learning, but also makes the old boar scuffle around a bit more, which is good for him.
