People don't have enough appreciation for the "namei -lx" command in Linux . It's great for identifying permission problems and cross-filesystem stuff. Mount points have a capital "D".

This #KB5014441 patch has been a mess from the very start. It just keeps crashing every time. I might just completely disable WinRE, but I might try this script on one of my other computers:

A really neat free service out there for hobbyists is Hurricane Electric's DNS hosting. Free users can currently host 50 zones, and it supports dynamically-updatable records with separate passwords for each record.
