Got ~*influenced*~ to go to met market (needed to go to the supermarket, was reminded about the cookie) but it paid off because they had hot cross buns!

If I drive from my house to Climate Pledge Arena, it’s about 30 mins each way. Going by light rail, I’ll have to drive 10 mins to the station, then it’s 45 mins to Westlake, then 5 mins on the monorail, then 5 mins walk to the arena. I’m still glad the light rail is here and maybe it will be useful for other trips but when hockey games finish at 10pm, I just want to get home quick!
The Daily Mail for some reason covered the cross lake connection of the light rail, mainly focused on Mercer Island and how it affects those poor people and it’s one of the funniest stereotypical articles ever. AI could never.
