Good night Fediversistas! Sleep well and dream effectively, that you may awake in the morning in the knowledge that the world is as we have made it, and it is only us stopping it being remade for the better, and that you have realised how we can stop stopping that and actually remake it for the better, for that is within our gift. #Bobies
Good morning Fediversistas! We walk out once more beneath a blanket of cloud; clear skies that left a frost, are lost as the clouds close over, drawing a curtain over the dawn, fading the new day into grey

The clown car rolls into town and our new clown overlords start pouring out.

For increasing government efficiency... the guy who burnt down Twitter. A columnist writes: "The richest person in the world is about to receive a free public education."

For head of the Defense Department... a Fox News host. For Health and Human services... how about an anti-vaxxer with a dead worm in his brain?

The clowns keep coming.

And so, in the end made four of these: one to each tree, courtesy of 300 gsm Somerset Satin paper. To make the emboss, I softened the paper for 15 minutes to loosen its fibres then dampened it off and laid it on top of a linocut block and placed both in a clamp press. I finished the whole piece by burnishing the back of the paper with a teaspoon. 30 minutes to press the emboss; 10 days to carve the block. Somewhere along the line I meditated.
Good evening Fediversistas! End of a busy, pretty meh week: hopefully a chance to recharge the old batteries this weekend with ambling and gigs. Anyway, good sky this evening, on our amble. Getting to carry a torch time of year.
