I'm stoked. Found a good job as a DevOps engineer. First time I've had a title that reflects what I do in a long time. Before, I did "whatever needed to be done on some random system that nobody really wants anything to do with" but now I can tell you what I'm doing today and why I'm doing it. It's also great to know what topic to search for in podcasts, training, meetups, etc. Changes everything. Also helps in an interview being able to talk about what it is I do. Plus, I really enjoy it.

In the US, they have a federal holiday every 4 years following an election - Inauguration Day on January 20th. However, the US does not think voting in said election is worth a holiday. 😆 😆 😂

Web devs and project managers!!! People CAN actually have a home address with a slash, like “1/2”. This is how the street’s name appears on the street sign and tax records but so many sites fail address verification because it has a slash. So now my address appears as “12” which is bogus. Or just use an address verification system. This isn’t hard. #webdev
