I have absolutely seen this and experienced this. Although, I don’t think it’s much different from any teenager or young person working shitty jobs in any decade I’ve lived or seen in media. The silent term staring you down at fast food is timeless.

As an American, visiting the EU confused me so much because I expected the taxes to be confusing since I saw VAT (acronym not used here) everywhere. Tax varies on sales items from place to place but is consistent enough if you aren’t moving around that you learn the general average of tax added. It is annoying but you do see the total before you pay. It’s not completely blind. Just anti-consumer probably sold to my grandparents as pro-business

Half life 2. I could conceive of shooter games but until playing HL2 as a teenager, I didn’t quite understand how much storytelling they could pack in. Suddenly, it felt like games could be thoughtful and entertaining pieces of art instead of solely fun time

True. I built up a tolerance and got my wife to try some this way. She woke up high and continued to be so for about a day. Oops.

Go for it. Make sure you are in a safe and comfortable place with something fun or entertaining in front of you. I wouldn’t personally go out or try to be social in anyway at first (unless you have close friends you trust). I didn’t try until my late twenties and it is fun and addictive for me. The people around me are affected differently and get too much paranoia so your mileage may vary! Edibles are a stinkless way to go about it but remember you need very little at first to feel it. I think it does so much less damage to your body than alcohol but I wouldn’t trust a strangers’ opinion on the internet that far.

I gotta add to this the app Brightintosh. It kicks up the screen brightness to the actual Mac brightness of the screen so a good 2x brighter. Major dif using in bright environments, less screen life and color accuracy theoretically

Girlfriend broke up with me so I proceeded to buy a $900 motor scooter (fast mo-ped). My best friend also wrecked it and bent the front wheel after owning it for approximately 30 minutes. It did not bring all the girls to the yard but it was fun!
