I’m obsessed with iPadOS 26. The windowing system seems like a real solution to a problem that has existed on the iPad since forever and the way that the OS emulates glass in the UI is quite impressive. Clearly still a beta (especially with UI transitions), but man I’m really digging this update
Loving the combo of Termius and Tailscale on the iPad: Was able to bang out a new bash-powered backup script for the home lab server during my lunch!
Did it. Very liquidy, very glassy, very window managementy
Success! Kero's Mac Mods order placed and I bit the bullet and ordered two different types of BlueSCSI mounts -- fingers crossed!

Finally FINALLY ordered a ROM-inator for the SE/30 (along with a case for my Wombat) -- and some Mini'app'les stickers too! (One of which will go on the SE/30)

I still need to place an order from Kero's Mac Mods for a FlexiSCSI cable and analog board rivets, but I need to measure for my cable length first

QQ: Where does one buy RAM for the SE/30? eBay?

I needed an XP laptop for... reasons... and this Evo N620c crossed my path. I'm a sucker for Compaq laptops
Tried out the Mazda AIO mods for my 2016 Mazda 3! Wild how easy it was to get to a Terminal and make changes with an sh script
Hi all! I’m trying to start a retro technology club in the Twin Cities of Minnesota area (but of course welcome to anyone). If you’re interested, please checkout https://mnretrotech.org and fill out the interest form. Share far-and-wide! The more the merrier.

While I had the Palm Pre Plus out I figured I'd snap some photos of non-computers and Milly was delighted to be my model

New friend! Picked up this Toshiba Portégé 3010CT yesterday! I think I'm going to make it my designated Windows 98 SE machine and use my ThinkPad (that alternated between Windows and OS/2) as purely an OS/2 machine.

Ordered an IDE-to-SD adapter for it as well as the OEM external floppy drive and a "Designed for Windows 98/NT" sticker.

@hannahpatellis But does it run Doom?
@freehours9 That's so funny -- exactly what another friend asked when I showed her lol but also... probably!
@hannahpatellis 😉 So you changed the wallpaper?
@freehours9 okay be fair I did a bunch of other tweaks but this was one that I could photograph lol
@hannahpatellis What else did you tweak?? So curious.
@hannahpatellis hang onto this car, it will be popular in vintage car computing circles in 20 years
@macinjosh 😂 it was so easy to get to a terminal too! Imagine the possibilities!
