Hannah A. PatellisAnyone using iPadOS 26 beta? How is it? Thinking of installing it on my iPad because I don’t use the iPad much but want to know if it’s a normal level of unstable or if it’s really rough…
AppleFanboy@hannahpatellis It’s pretty stable. Haven’t ran into any issues so far. It sure is glossy and shiny. 😂
@AppleFanboy Sick! I went ahead and did the update and so far so good! It really is very shiny lol I really like the direction Liquid Glass is going, but can tell they’re still polishing it (pun intended?)
@hannahpatellis I like it too. I went ahead and updated my phone as well. So far so good. Looking forward to watching the progress they make with it before the official release.
eric@hannahpatellis been thinking about making the jump as well. I use my iPad Pro 13 quite a bit.
@eric Good friend of mine has been using the iPadOS 26 beta and said there’s nothing horrendous about stability — still a beta feel, but nothing out of the ordinary. Battery life is a bit weak here said too.
I went ahead and installed it and so far so good! Clearly a beta (rough transitions, some very small UI weirdnesses, but nothing that stops what you’re working on). I think Liquid Glass is gorgeous, was excited for new windowing, and really wanted to use the Journal app and all are working well enough! Would recommend the beta update!
