@tiamat271 @hashtaggames thank you for having the original in the post

With generative AI it's pretty clear to see that automation is at a point resembling the Hellenistic era. Where the steam engine was possible, but no-one thought to create it because slave labor was cheaper.

There are huge initiatives to replace people who write, draw, design etc. But there a lot of jobs where people are breaking their bodies, that there's just no urgency to automate. Because that labor has been made cheap.

Automate the boring stuff instead!

@kkarhan @0xabad1dea used to work with a pretty important system. Leaving an unlocked workstation logged into that was a big issue, so everyone made sure to turn screen upside down and lock if they saw it.
That way you knew you forgot, but that someone caught it before someone who would report it saw.
@Wearwolf fair enough, I'm gonna have to phone in because I need to lie down.
@gear12turbo I think that Paranoia and CoC are sort of mirror images.
In CoC it's supposed to be scary but often people start laughing nervously when you really succeed...
In Paranoia it's supposed to be funny, but people stop laughing when they realise what the world they're playing in is..
@Wearwolf I have a weird backache that seems to be very local but move up and down.
Wanna start a weird-pain-club?
@howler0502 "Episode 72.5 (Patreon Exclusive) how not to startle cats when rearranging the kitchen. Special guest, A Deaf Dog(a very good boy)"
@howler0502 "Episode 72: step 2.14: organization of utensils and glassware to easily hand people who come to the kitchen what they're looking for so they can leave"
@howler0502 the only thing that would have made it better is if you had added an episode number greater than three.
@howler0502 I was thinking of how to make "a podcast where you interview cats in kitchen at parties" a title that sounded plausible, and then you just march in and crush.
