Happy December folks! It's cold, crisp and dark, meaning it's time for our last meetup for the year! We've scheduled for next week, Thursday 11th December in a new venue: the Quaker Meeting house on Victoria Terrace. We'll be looking forward to the Ruby 4.0 release, and chatting about this and that.
Details on the website: https://scotrug.org/2025/12/04/ruby-40-whats-in-the-new-release.html

See you there!
The shining lights of the Christmas markets sparkle through the crisp nights, signifying the impending arrival of a new Ruby version. This year’s release (scheduled for Christmas day) will be Ruby 4.0! Unusually, the major version number bump doesn’t mean underlying language or interpreter changes though. And if that’s intriguing, good!
